What do you like about your job?

What I like about my position at Gerber & Eckensweiler is that it allows me to connect with our clients to provide them with the best customer service we can provide. I also enjoy working with a dynamic growing team of professionals.  Everyday is different.

What do you like to do outside of Work?

I enjoy most outdoor activities during every season. From hiking, paddling, cycling, camping to snowshoeing and skiing. Indoors I like to spend time with family, friends and my various pets.

I love baking Birthday cakes. Enjoy hiking and campfires with friends, and taking my dog on long walks.

I enjoy the satisfaction of keeping our clients books up-to-date, and tracking down the occasional missing pieces of the puzzle and fitting them into place.

I love watching sports, particularly hockey. I like to gather friends to play board games from time to time.

I enjoy meeting clients, getting to know them, their business, and making sure they get the customized service they need to keep all their business affairs in order.

In my spare time, I enjoy cycling, kayaking and wood carving.

Anything you'd want to add?

I completed an advanced business administration and accounting diploma at college in 2022. I also have extensive experience in the automotive manufacturing industry holding various positions including twelve years in supervisory and management roles. ​

What do you like about your job?

I enjoy the puzzle-solving aspect of bookkeeping, as well as helping out clients with whatever questions or inquiries they may have.

What do you like to do outside of Work?

I love to bake, spending time with my friends & cats, and explore different trails, parks and beaches in Ontario.

I have a Bookkeeping certificate from Conestoga College that I received in 2020.

What do you like about your job?

I love puzzles and organizing. Bookkeeping allows me to do both of those things. I also love helping people.

What do you like to do outside of Work?

I like to go hiking. I have a very energetic dog so we are always looking for new places to walk. I also like reading and I'm learning to crochet.

It is my pleasure to be a part of the Gerber & Eckensweiler team. When approached by Mike to see if I wanted to be a part of this new business venture of his, my immediate response was YES! I knew that Mike and his business partner Lee were creating something special, and I wanted to be a part of it.

My role with Gerber & Eckensweiler is to provide payroll services to our valued clients. This includes processing payroll, records of employment, filing T4's, getting WSIB accounts set up along with a variety of other governmental filings.  It is my goal to service our clients with kindness and grace, knowing that each client's needs are different. I strive to keep learning and growing my skills to provide excellence to those clients I serve.

When I'm not working for Gerber & Eckensweiler,  I am an entrepreneur and business owner of an online health and wellness company. I love spending time outdoors (during the nice weather as I don't like being cold), gardening, hiking, kayaking and general exploring of new places. I like playing board games visiting friends. Reading and learning are a favourite hobbies of mine. I love getting lost in a good book. 

Each day we wake up we get to choose how we want to live our life and I choose to make it the best one I can.

What do you like about your job?

My position allows for me to embrace my natural ability to see the intricate details. I love being able to organize information in a clear way, and I find satisfaction when noticing and solving discrepancies. Every file is different, which keeps things interesting for me.

What do you like to do outside of Work?

I spend a lot of time with my animals. My two cats enjoy relaxing with me; my little dog does too, but she's happiest when she's running beside by bike or out on a trail in the sunshine. I also love painting, and getting lost in the world of a book or videogame. Astronomy and the study of the universe is fascinating to me. I would like to travel and explore more of our earth as well.

What do you like to do outside of Work?

Recently started into some construction and woodworking to craft some passion projects. Other than that, I love gaming!

What do you like about your job?

Diving into new clients, organizing, categorizing and streamlining their information into coherent, easy to follow bookkeeping processes. It is my happy place to create practices and share knowledge to make our clients' lives easier.

What do you like to do outside of Work?

I love going to the gym most days of the week. It is a lifestyle choice that truly makes me happy! If I am not at the gym, I am outdoors enjoying the beautiful weather while it is here. Whether it is walking to destinations, enjoying patios, spending time by/in the water and my heart is filled by seeing my family/friends. During winter, I am a big fan of puzzles, games, reading and catching up on shows I enjoy.

Anything you'd want to add?

I have a Bachelor of Education and enjoy teaching others in all capacities. I have been in accounting for over a decade and have a vast knowledge base of a variety of industries. 

What do you like about your job?

Meeting new clients and getting to learn their business and future visions, supporting other bookkeepers and being a sounding board for how to handle complex problems and learning about new software and passing on that knowledge to our team.

What do you like to do outside of Work?

Outside of work I like to work on my car, LARP and volunteer my time to community and cultural organizations.

I specialize in clean ups and QuickBooks Online. I also love new challenges and teaching how to make numbers talk.

I enjoy working on the different types of files and getting to know each individual business. I get to know a variety of clients in this position.

What do you like to do outside of Work?

I enjoy spending down time with my husband and 3 kids. We enjoy camping in the summer and curling up watching movies on those cold winter nights!

What do you like about your job?

What I like (Honestly "like" is too light of a descriptor) about my current position is how much I look forward to returning to work each day. I never dread entering the office and I never wake up hesitant to start the day. The role of a director is ever-changing which makes every day completely different. My day to day requires creativity, taking risks, assessing and rearranging processes, consistent trial and error, and dreaming about the possibility of what we can achieve tomorrow.

What do you like to do outside of Work?

Writing music (mainly using guitars), lifting heavy weights, spending time with my wife (Allison), travelling up to Northern Ontario to visit family and enjoy the scenery, Drinking coffee, cruising on my motorcycle, jumping in cold water or finding any excuse to start a campfire.
